Some Challenges Today With Necessary Criteria In Cocktail Dresses

A local Red Hatters group sewing project is helping young girls across the globe. Mary Jo Acker learned about an organization, Little Dresses for Africa, that collects homemade dresses sewn from pillowcases to ship to Malawi for distribution to African girls. Working with Nancy’s Notions in Beaver Dam, Acker, a member of the Feisty Females Red Hatters, collected about 45 pillow cases for her fellow members to sew. They gathered at Jeanne Epping’s home in Westshire to begin their sewing, then finished the dresses at home, Acker said. Finally, on May 31, they delivered them to Nancy’s Notions
